McElroy McCalc® is a free-to-use fusion parameter calculator that helps users determine the correct fusion parameters for McElroy hydraulic fusion machines. The app offers a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate, making it accessible to both novice and experienced users.
One of the standout features of McElroy McCalc® is the ability to select from a list of McElroy hydraulic fusion machines and industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, GIS, WIS, and DVS. Users can input pipe size, wall thickness, and drag pressure, and the app will display the pressures and times for fusion cycles and heater temperature range according to the selected standard. Other features include pipe size entry in IPS, DIPS, OD, or JIS, wall thickness entry in DR or actual wall thickness, pressure entry in psi, bar, kg/cm², or MPa, and heater temperature display in °F when “psi” is selected for pressure and °C otherwise.
The app also includes a timer that counts up continuously and can be reset with a single tap. McElroy McCalc® supports several languages, including English, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese, making it a versatile tool for users around the world.
